β¨ Workshop Overview
Students will explore the fundamentals of Computer Aided Design (CAD) using Onshape. Through hands-on activities, students will learn how to create 3D models, understand engineering design concepts, build assemblies, and design their own unique mechanisms.
No prior CAD experience required!

Session 1: Introduction to CAD, Onshape basics, sketches, constraints, and first 3D part
Session 2: Complete first design, learn fillets, and practice creating parts
Session 3: Explore design thinking and learn the revolve feature
Session 4: Create advanced geometry and complete a design challenge
Session 5: Learn part manipulation using mirror and transform tools
Session 6: Build assemblies and begin an original mechanism project
Sessions 7 & 8: Complete final projects, share creations, and celebrate with certificates π
