USTEMM NeuroHand Innovation Lab introduces students to the exciting intersection of neuroscience, robotics, biomedical engineering, and artificial intelligence.
Participants will build and explore a functional robotic hand while learning how muscles, nerves, sensors, and machines work together.
No prior robotics or programming experience is required—just curiosity and a desire to innovate.
Students will leave with practical STEM experience and a deeper understanding of technologies shaping the future of healthcare.
🤖 What Students Will Learn
In this exciting hands-on workshop, students will:
- 🖐️ Discover the anatomy of the human hand and learn how bones, muscles, tendons, and nerves work together.
- 🧠 Explore the basics of neurobiology and understand how the brain sends signals to control finger movements.
- 💻 Learn to program and control robotic fingers using beginner-friendly coding concepts.
- 🤝 Develop creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills through engaging STEM challenges.
